Live sand art for documentary film "Elie Poigoune à l’école de la paix"

In January 2026, I shoot live sand art for this documentary about a well-known figure from New Caledonia: Elie Poigoune. The filming took place in my studio on my large light table.

This documentary will be shown on 7 September on the Caledonia channel.

I used live sand art to create chapter openings for this documentary portrait, as well as a sequence for the film’s title. The director and cameraman captured some beautiful close-ups of my hands and the moving sand.
